While Nothing is already preparing a second, more “top-of-the-line” smartphone (2), the new British manufacturer will also refresh its line of wireless earbuds in a few weeks. The Ear (1) was the company’s first devices, followed by the Ear (rod) and Nothing is about to start the Ear (2) anymore.
Thanks to the new high-resolution images shared by leaky OnLeaks, Now we know exactly what the new headphones will look like. It’s not the first time we’ve seen their design, as the latter was shared by 91mobiles a few weeks ago, but it’s the best look ever.
What changes for Nothing Ear (2)?
At first glance, it will be very difficult to distinguish the Ear 2s from last year’s Ear 1s. The name written on the body of the earphones has obviously not changed anything, but it has also taken advantage of this new generation to carry some components. The active noise canceling microphone, which was previously located at the rear, is now located on the upper part of the body.and other components seem to be displaced inside as well.
In addition to design, OnLeaks tells us that Nothing will improve the functionality of the headphones. This time we’ll have the right custom noise cancellation, which means that the user will have the freedom to adjust the noise canceling level according to their preferences. Previously, only three modes were available (off, -15 dB and -40 dB). The headphones will also have a Transparency mode that will allow you to hear your surroundings better.
Finally, one of the key changes will be the arrival of Bluetooth Multipoint, this allows Ear 2 to connect to two different devices at the same time and quickly switch from one device to the other. Nothing adds custom settings and enhanced EQ support with Find Earbuds.
