Netatmo continues to expand its range of connected objects. On Thursday, May 28, 2020, the French firm introduced its “Smart Outdoor Camera with Integrated Siren”. This is a fairly recent version of Netatmo’s current outdoor camera, which sells for 300 euros. This new accessory is uniquely distinguished: add a siren.
Fully remotely controllable, the camera can alert its owner to the presence of an animal, car or person. Of course, you can enable/disable notifications for one or the other of these categories, for example if you have a cat or goat.

Netatmo’s camera HomeKit compatible, Apple’s home automation ecosystem, and Amazon Alexa and Google Home speakers. Even at night, it can shoot Full HD with an angle of 100 degrees and a detection area of 20 meters. Unlike other solutions on the market, the camera does not require a cloud storage subscription. Videos are indeed stored locally on a microSD card.
