Philips Hue has launched its new connected Hue series of lights. Here we are talking about lamps, not light bulbs, which can be purchased in color, white and in the form of two screws – E12 and E27 (small and large neck). So these new concepts are like a kind of battery-free Hue Go where you can replace the lamp – the new Philips Hue lights. Meanwhile, Philips Ascend is introducing three new series called Enchant, Adore and Outdoor.
Philips Hue: discover the new range
The Ascend range consists of mood lights fixed to the wall (Ascend Wall lamp), ceiling (Ascend floor lamp), bedside lamp (Ascend table lamp) and pendulum (Ascend pendant), a pendant lamp to be mounted on the ceiling. Likewise, Philips has updated the Being Suspended ceiling light as well as the Enchant pendant light, which has a simpler design and is significantly cheaper.
Philips is launching a product line for the bathroom called the White Ambiance Adore Collection. There’s a new mirror (Adore Illuminated Vanity Mirror) and a ceiling light (Adore Ceiling Light) – as the name suggests, they only offer white hues and are sold with a dimmer. Finally, Philips is now also investing in outdoors and gardens with its new Outdoor Light Strip: a kind of fully waterproof LED garland available in 2m and 5m sizes.
Most of these new lamps will be available from August 20, 2018. The Being Pendant lamp will be available for the equivalent of US$249.99, while the simpler Enchant Pendant will be available for the equivalent of US$99.99. The bathroom mirror will be available for around $249.99 and the ceiling light for around $179.99. Ahead of the Outdoor LED Fairy Lights, it will be priced at $89.99 for the 2 million version and $159.99 for the 5 million version.
