Google Glass: Internet giant to launch 2nd generation in 2019

A pair of Google Glass 2 has been approved by the FCC (Federal Communications Commission) reveals 9to5Mac, a well-known US regulatory agency. Passing the FCC often indicates that a product is ready for sale.

Google will launch Google Glass 2 in 2019

It looks like Google isn’t giving up on its connected glasses project. In July 2017, the Mountain View company introduced Google Glass Enterprise Edition glasses, aimed only at professionals from large groups such as Boeing or Volkswagen.

At the same time, the search giant continued to improve its creation. Diagrams seen on the FCC website reveal the glasses very similar to the previous edition. Contrary to expectations, Google has yet to make Google Glass more discreet or elegant. But notice that the front camera featured in the first model in the diagrams is smaller here.

According to sources familiar with the matter and quoted by 9to5Mac, this release is A technical sheet similar to Google Glass Enterprise Edition, with a single photo sensor and an Intel-designed SoC. We can expect a larger battery and a more powerful SoC from the first generation, which had to make do with 780 mAh.

According to 9to5Google, Google has also found a way to reduce heat emission, one of the mistakes of the first generation. This new generation will again be reserved for the professional market. What do you think of the return of Google Glass?
