If you’ve always dreamed of being Marty McFly, the Smartshoe’s built-in automatic lacing system should appeal to you. It’s not Nike, but at this point, we don’t care about the brand. However, you will be even more impressed with the other features on offer and there is no shortage of them.
Once your tethered shoe is charged via a wireless system (we can’t stop progressing!), you’ll be able to fully control it using your smartphone, thanks to a mobile app. Among its features, you will find a heating system that will ensure that you will never get cold feet again, especially in winter. After all, it’s more practical than stacking two pairs of socks!
As for the automatic lacing system, it’s actually an on-off system that’s more futuristic than Marty MacFly’s Nikes for once, and allows you to modulate the tightness of your foot as well. . After all, at this price (450 euros), it would be a shame not to feel good in your sneakers! A system that can be controlled via your smartphone or connected watch.
Besides the integrated flashlight (handy at night!) and the padded wear monitoring system, there are also several sensors dedicated to monitoring your physical activity, along with traditional step counters and calories, among others. Expected to launch this spring, the smart shoes give you plenty of time to save some money if they get you hooked!
