WhatsApp will let you create personalized stickers

In WhatsApp, as with many messaging services, it is possible to use stickers in a conversation. On the other hand, you have to go through a third-party app to create your own stickers. The app will end soon since beta testers noticed that a built-in tool was added.

It was the site 91mobil that noticed the incident through the leaker Mukul Sharma. When you’re chatting with someone and want to send them a sticker, basic stickers are presented, plus a new icon: create. By clicking the small + sign, it is possible select a photo, crop it and then integrate it into your chat. It is also possible to add small funny animations.

WhatsApp will integrate personalized stickers

The Android Authority site was able to access it in the PC version of the app and shows us how it looks. As you can see, the function is very easy to learn and seems fully integrated into the service. So you don’t need to use an external tool to make stickers that match your mood.

Currently, this functionality is only available in beta and only privileged people can access it. However, we can expect to see it landing for the general public in the coming weeks. Of course, Android will serve first, iOS users will have to wait a bit. Meta (WhatsApp’s parent company) did not communicate on the matter. The app has a habit of posting such innovations without trumpets or fanfare. Recently, another long-awaited feature has been spotted: the ability to delete old messages. Likewise, the picture-in-picture mode also celebrated its arrival and protected your personal data from unwanted people.

In short, small innovations that accumulate, improve the experience. Trying to keep users scalded by the app’s new policy on personal data entails this.
