Similar to the display of danger zones in Waze, tolls are also based on information provided by the community. By planning your route, show toll booths on the route but at the same time amount to be paid for each. This functionality will be especially useful for the occasional traveler and those who don’t know what to expect, especially during the holidays, when you don’t want to miss any detail before setting off.
Waze now shows tolls
It was already possible to view the toll booths on a journey, or even edit the route to avoid as much mail as possible while avoiding lengthening the route. From now on, tolls are in addition to information Waze can provide. If you pay with coins, you will be able to prepare your change while estimating the total cost of your trip.
This is a very useful new feature coming a few weeks after the introduction of Google Assistant support in Waze to control various functions without touching the screen. As flagship features are slowly added to Google Maps, it’s another proof that Google hasn’t given up on its GPS navigation app.
Viewing tolls on Waze is currently only available for Android and iOS apps in the United States and Canada. Google did not provide any details about the availability of the feature in Europe, but it is expected to arrive in our country soon.
