Google’s new Nexus 5X comes with an impressive array of features, but there are reportedly some issues as well. Here, we’ll take a look at a few things you need to know right now about the Nexus 5X’s early issues.
In late September, Google took the stage to make a few key announcements. The company has finally confirmed an Android 6.0 Marshmallow release date and also detailed two new Nexus smartphones dubbed Nexus 6P and Nexus 5X.
The Nexus 5X is the company’s flagship smartphone in 2013 and the spiritual successor to the popular Nexus 5, which is still in the hands of many Android users around the world.
The new version of Google’s Nexus 5 comes with some notable changes like a larger 5.2-inch display, a fingerprint sensor behind the phone’s matte design, and an improved 12.3MP camera. It also comes with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, the latest Android version from Google.
The Nexus 5X is an excellent phone, but not perfect. As we move away from the Nexus 5X’s release date, we’re starting to hear some issues plaguing owners of Google’s new flagship smartphone.
With these early Nexus 5X issues in mind, we want to take a look at everything we think you need to know right now. This summary takes a look at the issues, fixes for these issues, and more.

Unfortunately, some of the replaced units appear to have a yellowish tint. a user claims to have seen it in three versions Your Nexus 5X.

These are just a few of the issues affecting Nexus 5X owners. As more people install the latest security update and more people buy the phone, we expect more issues to arise.
While there are issues, it’s important to note that these issues are isolated. We haven’t heard about any common issues affecting every single version of the device on the planet. We use several Nexus 5X variants and have not found any major issues with its software.
It’s impossible to predict whether you’ll run into problems after Google’s latest update (or any of its unannounced updates), and that’s exactly why we recommend that you prepare for this update and all of Google’s upcoming Marshmallow releases.
A little prep work can go a long way.
