Microsoft Edge: Dark theme and password sync on Android

The Redmond company has not had great success with these web browsers. It is a fact that internet users are predominantly turning to Google Chrome, which is the number one in the industry with more than 2 billion installs. Microsoft owns services and apps and Edge is announcing a new update with two features that will surely please users who choose it.

Microsoft Edge: Two new features on Android, dark theme and password sync

With the new features announced by the giant, we get to the heart of the matter. Syncing passwords allows Internet users to save time by importing them from their online accounts. It’s a long-awaited feature that we’ve been dreaming of since Edge was available on Android, as competitors have been offering this for so long. Then a dark theme appears and is less glare from the smartphone screen, better protecting your eyes in the dark. To enable it, simply go to Settings > Themes > Appearance.

These new items already available, just update your app if it’s not done yet. Note that Edge is currently in testing on Android. However, anyone can install it, be aware that there may be a number of errors in the web browser. We recently revealed that Microsoft is working on a feature that allows private mode to be automatically activated when browsing a porn site with Edge. The publisher is full of ideas to improve its app.
