LG G4 Launching in US

Starting today, the brand new and impressive LG G4 smartphone is officially available on shelves in the United States. After nearly a month of silence following the April 28 launch date, all major carriers have confirmed a release date in the past weeks, and the LG G4 is available today from T-Mobile.

In April, LG took the stage in New York and, after months of rumors and small teasers, announced the all-new, redesigned LG G4. It’s already available in Korea, and all major US carriers have confirmed that they will launch the new phone in the first week of June starting today.

Last week, the LG G4 went on sale from T-Mobile as an online-only early pre-sale and is now in stores ahead of all other carriers in the United States. However, it will be available from Verizon and AT&T tomorrow, and from Sprint on June 5. Read on for more details.

T-Mobile last week approved The G4 goes on sale online May 27 and will ship before its in-store release date, which is June 3, today. T-Mobile LG presents the G4 $599 direct in brown leather or metallic silver plastic, or $29.99 for 24 months with regular payment plans. It looks like there’s only one skin version so far, but more could be released in the coming weeks or months. LG revealed six genuine leather backs at launch, and all US carriers offer Black, except for T-Mobile, which has brown vegetable-tanned leather.
