Instagram: dark mode is coming to Android 10, download APK

Not surprisingly, Instagram is switching to a dark mode on Android 10. As XDA Developers reports, this dark mode is currently available on select devices equipped with the beta version of the app. Unfortunately, it doesn’t seem to be possible to activate it on all Android smartphones at the moment. In other cases, the result is somewhat random. Requires beta, dark interface is not yet 100% developed.

As XDA Developers points out, this dark mode helps to relax your eyes, especially if you’re watching the social network in the middle of the night. In addition, the theme further highlights photos and videos posted by Internet users. To enable the mode on Instagram, you must first enable Android 10’s system-wide dark mode. Therefore, for now, the beta seems to be reserved for smartphones equipped with Android 10. Some Samsung smartphones equipped with One UI also seem compatible.

At the moment, it is not known when the dark mode will come to the stable version of Instagram. There are currently two solutions to try to get to the dark side. You can do it too Sign up for Instagram’s beta program directly on the Google Play Store. Then you will get all beta updates automatically.
