Google confirmed Boundary Being in the process of mass rolling out the Duplex service to users on both Android and iOS. Until now, only owners of a Pixel smartphone could take advantage of it. After about 4 months of this first wave, the American band is finally ready to take the next step.
Google Duplex: When Google Assistant really acts like an assistant
As a reminder, about a year ago, during the I/O conference, Mountain View company presented Google Duplex for the first time. This is an automatic call feature which means you don’t have to talk on the phone yourself to order a service. For example, you can make an appointment by calling your hairdresser with Duplex Google Assistant. In this way, it is possible to reserve a table in the restaurant and many other practical applications.

In other words, Google Assistant has never lived up to its name. All you have to do is give him all the necessary information via a short chat (date, time, confirmation that the AI is authorized to fill your phone number in the organization, etc.) and he takes care of everything. After calling the specialist in question, he will get back to you to confirm the reservation.
Google Duplex is currently available in the United States. It is also expected to arrive in other English-speaking countries in the coming months. For France, there is a risk that it will be longer. But as always, the feature will eventually come to us at some point.
