Rumors are in full swing with the Samsung Galaxy Note 5 launch date confirmed on August 13 in New York. Leaks and reports, including some images, have been circulating for months, but today the first live photos of the Galaxy Note 5 have been released. surfaced it gives us a look at the phone. For the past four years, every Galaxy Note launch came in September, and the smartphone launched in October. However, in 2015 the phone will launch sooner than many expected, and now we’re getting a solid look at Samsung’s latest model for the first time. phablet weeks before the release date.
These aren’t the first images we’ve seen of Samsung’s new Note, but this time around, the device is actually in the wild and is being used by a tester, meaning it’s likely a final version of the product. Some press photos appeared weekend of celebrities leaky @evleaks, but now we’re getting real footage of the Galaxy Note 5 up close and personal. This leaky We managed to share a few key specs and details about whether this phone will have it or not.
Just like the Samsung Galaxy S6 launched earlier this year, the new Galaxy Note 5 offers the same premium look and feel. Samsung ditched the plastic design in favor of beveled aluminum edges and glass covering the front and back of the device. However, this comes with tradeoffs. The Galaxy S6 did not have a micro SD slot or a removable battery; that’s two things every Galaxy smartphone has offered for years.
Looking at the photos above, leakyand reports from previous rumors all seem to point to the same bad news for potential Galaxy Note 5 buyers. It leaky It confirms the Note 5 doesn’t have a micro SD slot, but should have the same 32/64/128GB storage options as the Galaxy S6 from carriers.
That’s not all. The popular infrared sensor, which has been on all Galaxy S and Note devices for years and has been used as a remote control for a number of devices, is also missing from the new Galaxy Note 5. and because Samsung kept it for the Galaxy S6.

This leak once again confirms the new spring loaded S-Pen stylus and also confirms that it is a regular micro USB charging port at the bottom and not a USB Type-C port as previous rumors had suggested. One thing worth mentioning is that this leak states that the battery will only be 3,000. mAh in size with the smallest battery of any Galaxy Note. This is most likely due to the new glass and aluminum design, but many buyers will likely be upset to see battery life go backwards rather than forwards.

Finally, we also heard that the Galaxy Note 5 will not be alone next week. Samsung will reportedly launch a new Galaxy S6 Edge+ with a large 5.7-inch display with curves on both sides, similar to the Note Edge launched in 2014. This device will be very similar to the Galaxy Note but will be missing the S-Pen stylus. and it has a few differences, similar to the Galaxy S6 series and not the Note.
