Earlier this summer, one of the most popular mobile games in history received an award. big update this brought some highly anticipated new features, tons of changes and many improvements. However, with millions of players playing the game for over two years, more updates are being worked on. We’ve got a few ideas for what’s coming soon, and here we’ll explore six potential new features coming in the next Clash of Clans update.
With over 100 million downloads on both iOS and Android, Clash of Clans is a hugely popular and successful game. One reason is the vast majority of updates, new characters, and the constant feedback that the developers receive and apply to the game.
On July 1, Supercell released one of the biggest updates to Clash of Clans in over a year. Level 5 dragons had a huge list of new features and options, including three new spells for fighting battles and other bases, and much more. And while all of this is much needed, another update is coming for Town Hall 11 and more.
In the nearly two years I’ve been playing Clash of Clans, I’ve seen a lot of new features. They added another Mortar, better air defense against Dragons, and new Black Elixir troops. However, there is room for much more. During the holiday season there are updates that add snow to each player’s village, Christmas trees and gifts appear, and similar things happen during other holidays like Halloween.
And while small updates like these are nice and keep things fresh and fun, they quickly end and we’re back to the same gameplay that everyone has enjoyed for years. So what else can developers, aka Supercell, do to improve Clash of Clans? actually a lot.
There were many rumors about what was to come in the summer update that came in July, but most of the features that players expected to arrive did not. What that means is that they’ll likely arrive with another update later this year or early 2016.
We expect most of these rumored changes and additions to come with a Christmas or holiday season update, rather than taking a whole year to come up with an update next summer. Things like another dark elixir troop, Town Hall 11 and much more. Below is a list of six things we might see in future Clash of Clans updates.
