Brawl Stars Game Mods
There are seven main game modes to play so far and the purpose for each is different. You’ll want to know ahead of time to get the best chance of winning. Here are the top three you’ll enjoy and what beginners should focus on.
The first mode is Gem Grab and your team goal is to get 10 gems before the other team. You are fighting on a small map and running around with as many gems as you can hold is not as easy as it seems. If you die you will drop all your gems and the enemy team can collect them. Be strategic. Dropping a handful of jewels is fast, competitive, balanced and frustrating. If you have a bunch, do not rush the enemy, please.
Next up is the showdown, which is basically the battle royale mode. Instead of 3v3, 10 brawlers are against each other and the last brawler standing wins. Run around the map and get crates to power up and survive, shoot anything that moves and watch out for the green gas circle that slowly surrounds you like Fortnite.
Poplar mod is robbery because it looks more like a MOBA style game. It’s the traditional 3v3 mode where you always have to protect your vault. While fighting and shooting enemy fighters, the main goal is to try to damage the opponent’s coffers in the back of the arena. A short battle of 2 minutes 30 seconds, perfect for mobile gaming.
As you play, win and collect trophies or brawlers, you’ll be able to unlock more game modes. There were seven different modes initially with 3, then 5 and now more in 2019.
5 Quick Brawl Stars Tips for Beginners
Obviously, there are a few Brawl Stars tips and tricks to help you win. Especially considering that there are around 24 fighters to choose from and they all have unique abilities, weapons, stats and mechanics. Since this is for beginners, here are five quick tips to help you out.

And if you want to get as many trophies as possible as quickly as possible, we have a tip for that too. Play Gem Grab with as many different brawlers as you have during the first week. Spin different fighters and collect goods every 2-3 games. Matches are short and sweet, there’s not a ton of strategy, and you can earn tons of points and trophies relatively quickly.
As a bonus tip, we recommend avoiding Demo mode for at least the first few days. You will probably be in 9th or 10th place and you will lose a lot of trophies. Get a feel for the game, mechanical, and shoot first before diving into the head. Also, get a few better fighters before you enter a Showdown and smoke a cigarette.
