BlackBerry Privacy Shade: The app that hides your private text messages from overly nosy neighbors

A manufacturer has managed to build a strong image among professionals in recent years, thanks to its special attention to the security of user data. Obviously we’re talking about BlackBerry.

But the golden age is now over. The brand has abandoned the making of smartphones and is now focused on applications again. However, it continues to capitalize on its legacy, as evidenced by the release of a new app today.

BlackBerry Privacy Shade, the app to hide your text messages from prying people

One of the most popular features of their phones was the “Privacy Shadow”, which allows you to put a more or less strong “shadow” on your screen, revealing only certain information.

Imagine now available on the Play Store, allowing you to hide your most important conversations from snoopers around you, even on public transport or at home for the most sensitive information.

Note that this is definitely the first implementation of a long list. Make no mistake: Although the BlackBerry KEYone has just been released, the phone itself was developed by TCL and uses only the BlackBerry branding.

The company itself refocused on implementation. However, just because the devices bearing his name run on Google OS, we can guess that he preferred Android before iOS. To test this famous Privacy Shade, go to Play Store to download the app:
