3 Samsung Galaxy S6 Deals You Should Know About

The brand new Samsung Galaxy S6 is finally available for pre-order from most carriers in the United States as of this morning, and you can even try one out in select stores to get a feel for it before you buy. For those interested in Samsung’s latest and greatest, below are three Samsung Galaxy S6 deals you should know.

On March 1, Samsung took the stage in Barcelona Spain and officially unveiled the brand new and impressive Galaxy S6 and the Galaxy S6 Edge with a curved screen on both sides of the screen. Both phones have been rumored for months, and they’ve even confirmed an April 10 release date. However, we didn’t know when carriers would offer it, but pre-orders are live-streamed from all major US carriers today, with the exception of Verizon, starting April 1.

Although today is the official pre-order date for the new Galaxy S6, the release date is not until April 10. That said, many retail stores and carriers are already trying to capitalize on the launch by offering impressive Galaxy S6 deals, and below are three that all buyers should know before cashing in on a pre-order.

Both the Galaxy S6 and its curved GS6 Edge sibling will be available on all four major US carriers and at retail locations such as Amazon, Best Buy, Target, Walmart, Costco and Sam’s Club. Next, regional carriers like US Cellular, Cricket, Boost Mobile, and MetroPCS will all also carry the Galaxy S6, we’re not sure exactly when.

Today is the official pre-order release date for both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and HTC’s new HTC One M9 competition. Both have a lot to offer, the latest and greatest from the two major manufacturers, so buyers have a tough decision. But no matter how you’re learning, we have three deals you’ll want to know before you buy.

Free Wireless Charger at Best Buy

The new Galaxy S6 features wireless charging, similar to other smartphones released in recent years. However, Samsung has integrated multiple wireless charging solutions that allow all wireless charging technologies to power its new smartphone. This was an excellent move, especially considering that wireless charging mats, car docks, and even stock car integration are increasing day by day.

To help steal some buyers from carriers and other retail stores this morning Best Buy announced for anyone who pre-orders their Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge from them free wireless charging pad. These are usually around $50 or more from most manufacturers, including Samsung, so this is an excellent deal you’ll want to consider.

We don’t have all the details yet, but according to the official Best Buy page and the image below (from BestBuy.com), users will get the official Samsung wireless charger for $59 for free. For anyone who is already considering buying a wireless charger, the device is essentially $60 off. The only “fine print” here is that Best Buy charges $50 more than Verizon for no-contract pricing, but it’s the same for everyone else, so keep that in mind and see our 3rd deal below.

This deal is only valid from today, March 27, and expires on April 11, the day after the Galaxy S6 officially launches on all major carriers in the United States. So you have a few weeks to decide, place your pre-order and enjoy the free wireless charging pad. Head to a nearby Best Buy or order the Galaxy S6 or Edge online today.

Year of Free Netflix from T-Mobile

The wireless charger is nice, but in the long run it’s arguably an even better deal, the impressive Galaxy S6 deal announced by T-Mobile earlier this week. The carrier is giving a free 1-year Netflix subscription to all users who purchase a Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge from T-Mobile. Worth well over $100, it will give you an endless array of movies, TVs and content to enjoy on your new 5.1-inch Quad-HD device.

Galaxy-S6-Netflix

T-Mobile CEO John Legere states that you can “get” a year of Netflix for free, so we don’t have all the details yet, or whether there will be some fine print that makes this deal less appealing than it sounds, but we’ll have to wait and see. From what we’ve heard, almost everyone will be eligible and you’ll get one year free with your new phone. You can’t beat this, can you?

Verizon Has The Lowest Galaxy S6 Price

Believe it or not, Verizon actually lowest price For Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Usually carriers all offer devices for roughly the same price, but Verizon did something similar last year with the LG G3 and HTC One M8. Verizon’s Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge from Verizon are about $80 (for some) cheaper than AT&T, T-Mobile, and Sprint. And other variants of the device with different storage configurations are up to $65 cheaper, but all for contract-free pricing.

Verizon Galaxy S6 and S6 Edge purchased directly from Verizon without any contract; Much cheaper than AT&T, T-Mobile and US Cellular. Sprint hasn’t announced full pricing yet, but we don’t expect them to compete with the Big Red here either.

Even the monthly payment plans with Verizon Edge are $4-5 less per month than AT&T, T-Mobile, and US Cellular. Verizon for whatever reason has undercut all the competition, and that’s great for Verizon customers looking to snag the Galaxy S6. It’s worth noting that many of Verizon’s carrier plans are more expensive than others, so when you spend $130 per month on Verizon, you may have to pay more in the long run, so factor that into account before heading to a nearby Verizon location. .

other thoughts

Pre-orders have just started today, and potential buyers can expect other deals to emerge as the April 10 Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 release date approaches. Costco usually offers some sort of bundle, as do some other retail outlets, so be sure to check back for more details, as we’ll definitely be keeping an eye on all Galaxy S6 deals.

All said and done, the Galaxy S6 is finally available for pre-order and will be in the hands of buyers very soon. If you’re watching the new Galaxy, get one from the sources we’ve outlined above. You’ll be glad you did.
