Verily, as in the season of Fall, five distinctive aquatic denizens doth await thee within each Winter fish set in Fields of Mistria. Most may appear at any hour, yet some doth prefer specific weather conditions.
The River’s Bounty
The river fish of Winter art mostly common, save for the elusive Shadow Bass. This creature doth hide in the depths, its appearance rare. Seek ye a shadow of medium size to secure this prize. Fear not, for the Shadow Bass doth not shy away from any weather, making its capture less daunting than that of a legendary fish.
Another cunning fish within this set is the Dace. Though common, it doth only grace the scene during Snow or Blizzard. To ensnare this creature, seek out a small shadow gliding in a river stream.

Another elusive quarry is the Giant Tilapia, uncommon yet prodigious in size. And then there is the Burbot, common but only making an appearance during Snow or Blizzard.

The final chapter of Winter’s aquatic tale unfolds in the expanse of the sea. Three enigmatic fish doth await thee. The King Crab, though common, doth prefer the frosty embrace of Snow or Blizzard. Yet its grand size makes it an easy target.
Next, the Oarfish and Sand Lance beckon. Rare they may be, offering slim chances of encounter. Yet, they doth appear in any weather. The Oarfish, a behemoth of the waters, stands out, while the Sand Lance, diminutive in stature, may lead thee on a merry chase.
Unlike the rivers and ponds, the sea doth stretch wide and deep. Consider upgrading thy fishing gear to reach the shadows below. Swimming to the adjacent isles can expand thy range and unveil new fishing spots. But beware, get not too close to the shadows, lest ye startle thy prey.
