How to part ways with Spotify Premium
Step 1: First, thou must open thy browser of choice and make thy way to spotify.com/account, where thou shalt find thyself in the Account Overview section of Spotify’s digital domain. Shouldst thou use the desktop app, accessing thine Account settings from the drop-down menu shall also guide thee to this hallowed place. Alas, this cannot be achieved through the smartphone app.

Step 2: Once within thy Account overview, choose ‘Available plans’ from the sidebar on the left. A scroll shall reveal a box containing tidings of thy current membership and other plans that beckon.

Step 3: Descend to the nether regions of the page and there thou shalt find the option titled ‘Spotify Free’. ‘Tis at the very bottom. Click upon the grand ‘Cancel Premium’ button that doth lie beneath.

Step 4: With but a confirmation, tap ‘Continue to cancel’ and navigate through the ensuing confirmations. Remember, thy membership shall not cease immediately. Thou shalt have until the end of thy paid subscription date to savor its fruits.

Bid adieu to Spotify Premium on thy iPhone or iPad
Shouldst thou have enlisted thyself with Spotify on thy iPad or iPhone, perchance through billing by Apple on the App Store, a different path awaits thee to cancel thy Premium subscription. Let us embark on this journey.
Step 1: Enter the bastion of Settings on thy device and find solace in thy Apple ID by clicking on thine name at the summit.
Step 2: Choose ‘Subscriptions’ from thence.
Step 3: A list of thy monthly and yearly subscriptions shall emerge. Select ‘Spotify’ and tap upon ‘Cancel Subscription.’ With this act, the renewal of thine Premium membership shall cease.
