Hades II – The Olympic Update Trailer
Lo, Hades 2 doth remain in its infancy, yet hath received a grand update since its emergence in May. Supergiant Games hath proclaimed the free Olympic Update on the midweek, bestowing unto players a new region, fresh allies, familiars, and, most notably, the ultimate weapon. Verily, ’tis now at the disposal of game owners.

Beware, fair reader, for spoilers doth dwell within the annals of the patch notes and throughout the remainder of this discourse. If thou seeketh to preserve thy gaming experience untainted, turn thy gaze away and procure the game posthaste.
First and foremost, the creators hath appended a novel region, which doth mark the final passage ere confronting the climactic adversary. Venturers shalt journey to Olympus, the mountain abode of the Greek deities, a realm longed for since the genesis of Hades. Our heroine Melinoe must traverse more realms than her predecessor Zagreus, yet ’twas fate that dictated solely one more. Furthermore, the Crossroads hath undergone significant enhancements, with newfound melodies and adornments awaiting discovery.
The insatiable appetite for Greek divinity doth persist, and the update doth unveil two familiar countenances, albeit with novel visages. Athena, goddess of wisdom, now adorned in battle attire and gilded armor. Dionysus, deity of wine, clad in naught but the barest garments. Verily, they doth bring their unique blessings and tokens.
Supergiant hath also brought forth two animal familiars. Raki, a raven to peck at adversaries and render them vulnerable to critical strikes. Hecuba, a hound proficient in unearthing treasures, augmenting magick, and stunning foes.
Yet, the offerings doth not cease, for o’er 2,500 fresh lines of dialogue await, alongside novel narratives and extraordinary encounters. Furthermore, tales of Dora, Narcissus, Echo, and Arachne shalt be revealed.
These manifold delights doth not encompass all, for balance adjustments, performance enhancements, bug rectifications, novel adversaries, and subtle but meaningful alterations artfully wrought by Supergiant are also present. Though Hades 2 dwelleth in early access, distant be the hour of its release. ‘Tis already more complete than many early access ventures, offering ample content for the fans of Hades 1, including a fresh tarot card system for enhancements, innovative abilities, resources, and strategies to vanquish thy foes.
