An unusual clash is about to happen, after all, the actions of Carnage are taking the villain to a point where combat will be his only option other than being defeated.
Carnage’s quest for power only tends to increase, since he took control and began to act without a host, the symbiote has a desire to be powerful, and so he searches, through the Marvel Universe, for someone who can satisfy this desire to become even stronger.
This is the initial premise of the villain’s solo comic series, where Carnage steals the abilities of other Marvel villains, improving himself with each realm he leaves a trail of blood. After attacking Spot and stealing his interdimensional powers, he attacked Hydro-Man and stole his water powers. Now, his next victim is the Dark Elves of Svartalfheim.
According to the new issue of the comic, Carnage’s collision course will end with Thor, now that he has invaded the kingdom of the Dark Elves and done whatever he wanted with them, stealing their abilities. The villain’s initial mission seems to be to steal a pack of magical and extremely ferocious dogs, something that Carnage would certainly love to have. After carrying out a massacre with the elves and the dogs, only one animal remained, which the symbiote took control of and headed to Hel.
After going to the realm of the dead in the Norse world, Carnage seems unstoppable by any available character he passes through, thus ending up catching Thor’s attention. So far, the villain has not run into any hero or villain, which suggests a growing power until a clash that could consume good pages of stories.
Currently, the character is outside his most common area of action, as one of the many enemies in Spider-Man’s gallery of villains, in this interdimensional scenario and advancing over Nordic kingdoms, the one who seems to have to resolve the situation will be the current All-Father.
The thirst for power shown so far is leading Carnage to become a being as powerful as the gods, Thor being a God is the hero indicated in the context to stop the advance of the psychopathic symbiote.
This current premise of conflict has aroused a lot of curiosity among fans, where on one side we can have a character who loves a good head-on fight and on the other a more cunning and clever character, shrewd and with very sharp killer instincts. It will be a very serious problem for the Avenger to solve and, certainly, a story that will bring a lot of attention to the villain’s solo comic.
