To everyone in the Marvel Universe, Deadpool has come up with a perfect solution to defeat Thor that required seemingly little effort on the anti-hero’s behalf. In the MCU’s “Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again #1,” the Merc with a Mouth kidnaps not only Thor but a host of other deities and uses Medusa’s head to turn them to stone. The fourth-wall-breaking mercenary made the gods look very weak.
In productions such as “Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe”, “Deadpool Kills Deadpool”, “Deadpool Killustrated” and “Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again”, Deadpool has occasionally destroyed the Marvel Universe. Earth’s Mightiest Heroes have been slaughtered by the Merc with a Mouth, who has also displayed his most ruthless nature by refusing to stand down against his opponents.
When Deadpool encountered Thor and his other deities such as Hercules, Loki, and Ganesha, he used the powers of another deity against them, perfectly killing the God of Thunder and all the other deities.
In “Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again #1”, by Cullen Bunn, Dalibor Talajic, Goran Sudzuka, Miroslav Mrva and VC’s Joe Sabino, from Marvel Comics, Deadpool ends up being influenced by MODOK, who also causes him to start a killing spree throughout the Marvel Universe.
After murdering some heroes, Deadpool travels to the Aegean Sea, where many gods end up being warned, including Thor, Hercules and Hippolyta, about Deadpool being a potential threat to them.
However, Deadpool is still under the influence of MODOK, who believes that the gods are actually playing volleyball on the beach, not hunting him, leading him to catch a ball that, outside of his imagination, is the head of Medusa.
The moment they look at Medusa’s head, Thor and all the gods present end up turning to stone, making this the ideal moment to kill the God of Thunder.
“Deadpool Kills The Marvel Universe Again” isn’t a basis for the films, but it does show a perfect way to kill Thor. Nothing, so far, prevents Deadpool or some other hero or even villain from using Medusa’s head to turn their threats into stone. There’s no special rule or cosmic coincidence that’s required to accomplish this feat.
Thor is considered by many to be a true powerhouse within the MCU, however, if Deadpool wants or needs to defeat the God of Thunder, he has the ideal form of power in his hands to kill the Avenger.
This plot could even be working for a potential “Deadpool 3” movie, with Thor played by Chris Hemsworth. But of course: getting Medusa’s head off could be quite a challenge for whoever tries. It’s always been easier said than done, but if Deadpool pulls it off, he’ll have a weapon in his hands that can kill Thor and the vast majority of the heroes in the Marvel Universe simply by turning them to stone.
