Only the best in CS:GO: ranking of countries with the most Major winners

Online games have become so popular in recent years that many people now see competition between players as a kind of sport, or more precisely, an eSport. World championships are famous and attract a large audience, especially when they involve renowned titles such as “Counter-Strike: Global Offensive” or CS:GO.

The FPS game released by Valve In 2012, it was responsible for several international competitions, such as the CS:GO Major, which had its 19th edition this year. Throughout the journey that ended in the last championship, several countries had champion players, some of them with a little more prominence.

As the game’s tournaments have come to an end, the ranking of countries with the highest number of winning participants will remain fixed in history. Check out now which nations stand out most in the Major ranking by the number of champions.

Ranking of countries with the most CS:GO Major champions

1st- Sweden

The country has 12 players who are brimming with talent, half of whom have won more than one world competition. Furthermore, since the first edition in 2013, Sweden has attracted the attention of the gaming community as the leader.

Its greatest representatives have three titles each: Jesper “JW”, Markus “pronax” and Robin “flusha”.

2nd- France and Russia

Each of the two nations has 8 players who have received the noble title of world champions. Therefore, they are also a reference when it comes to CS:GO.

3rd – Denmark

With 7 players listed as world champions, Denmark is the biggest winner of the Major in the world. The country also has Peter “dupreeh”, who is the player with the most Blast Major titles in the world, accumulating a total of five trophies and being the first again in the last edition of the event.

4th- Brazil, USA and Poland

Finally, it’s Brazil’s turn. Each of these countries has five players who have been crowned world champions.

In 2016, our country took first place in both competitions of the gaming season. This was possible thanks to competitors Gabriel “FalleN”, Marcelo “coldzera”, Epitácio “TACO”, Lincoln “fnx” and Fernando “fer”. They won the “MLG Columbus” and “ESL: One Cologne” competitions.

In addition to these countries, the ranking continues with Kazakhstan in fifth place, represented by four players. Ukraine is in 6th, with three winners, and 7th place is shared by Canada, Norway, Estonia and Latvia, with only one winner each.
