DC Comics: Will Black Adam always be seen as a great villain?

Although many have come to know Black Adam through the big screen, with Dawney Johnson bringing the protagonist to life, this is not the first time the character has appeared, as he has already been present in the world of comics for some time.

Our vision of this icon is of an extremely powerful and strong character who, at the moment, is on the side of the good guys, however, in another version, we had the opportunity to clearly see that Black Adam will never stop assuming the great and dark role of villain.

We don’t only know him by the title “Black Adam”, but also by Teth Adam, who originated in Ancient Egypt. However, what many don’t know is that the character will always be seen, in the DC Comics Universe, as a great villain because of his fury and desire to face the “Justice League”.

But you might be thinking, “Wow, people change, don’t they? He might have changed.” In fact, that’s what we’ve seen lately, as long as he remains on the good side of history.

In any case, there have been several moments in which he has demonstrated his great fury, even generating a heat vision very different from what we already know. This happened in “Endless Winter”, written and created by Andy Lanning and Ron Marz.

In this issue, we see Black Adam completely enraged to defeat the great villain, Ice King. When he decides to go towards his adversary, Superman appears and tries to stop him before he can even perform a blow.

Outraged by everything that was happening, Black Adam decides to use his powers against Superman himself, leaving him completely embarrassed.

While this was happening, Black Adam used his power to shoot rays from his eyes and struck Superman without mercy. All of this begins to attract attention to him as a reflex inspired by Superman’s heat vision attack.

However, Superman used to use his ability only for some everyday uses, something that is not possible for Black Adam’s electric look.

Apparently, Black Adam’s skilled vision only serves to annihilate his enemies and nothing more, which strongly contributes to the conclusion that he is still a great villain.

So, if you come across a frightening glint in Black Adam’s eyes, be aware that his dark side will soon rear its ugly head.
