If you follow Marvel Comics, you may have noticed that the company has been inserting different elements into the comics of the “X-Men“, especially after the team migrated to the island of Krakoa and established a mutant nation there.
Plus, because of the “X-Force” preview, we’ll see some even weirder stuff coming up.
Recently, to make fans even more curious, the publisher released the cover and a quick synopsis of “X-Force #38”, a magazine scheduled for release in March of this year. Check it out:
‘Frankenstein’ style
On the cover, we can see something similar to the monster from Dr. Frankensteinbut recreated with members of various mutants from the team, such as Wolverine, Cable, Deadpool, Beast and Domino, among others.
Another detail that stood out on the cover was the man with the peacock tattoo. He is an enemy in the “X-Force” comics and is the leader of the anti-mutant group XENO.
The group is known for kidnapping Domino, at the beginning of the new phase of “X-Force”, to make her suffer and even use parts of her own body to gain access to Krakoa..
In the synopsis released exclusively by Marvel, we have:
“It’s all been leading up to this – XENO’s battle with X-FORCE, and the horrific truth of their horrific experiments! WHO, or rather WHAT, is the Omni-Mutant?!”
The identity of Omni-Mutantetem may be related to the patchwork constructed with the members of X-Force. The magazine will have scripts by Benjamin Percye and art by Robert Gill. The cover is done by Joshua Cassara.
“X-Force #38” will hit stores in the United States on March 1, 2023, but we have no release date set for Brazil.
In the movies, a version of “X-Force” appeared in “Deadpool 2“but we can say that the duration of the team was sudden.
There isn’t enough information yet to say whether the team will actually be back for “Deadpool 3.”“which is in development by Marvel Studios.
