If you follow the world A.D, is certainly aware of the most famous and talked about feud between heroes. Of course we are referring to Clark Kent and Lex Luthor.
It seems that the inevitable has happened, since, in the new comic book released by DC Comics, the HQ #1050 written by Philip Kennedy Johnsons and illustrated by Mike Perkins, we get to see a truce and a proposal made by Luthor to the Man of Steel, one that we could not imagine witnessing one day.
Luthor already recognizes how the Super man It is important and, now, he no longer wants to destroy it, at least not completely, wanting to limit only part of the hero’s power so that he can manipulate it as he sees fit.
After proposing to Superman that he go to his tower, he made the proposal, proposing to Clark that he accept a suit made by Luthor himself with the aim of restoring Superman’s secret identity.
The suit is well-equipped and has a completely different design than what we are used to, but it comes with Superman’s coat of arms, his official brand that we are already familiar with.
However, Superman already knows his rival very well about this and understands that this is just part of one of his many schemes to harm him. Therefore, Clark does not accept, until then, what seems to be just a harmless gift from Lex Luthor.
Wise for Superman, but not pleasant for Lex Luthor, who doesn’t seem to like hearing no at all, which is no surprise to any of us.
Although so far he has been friendly with Clark and is just looking for a way to manipulate him instead of starting his series of fights with the hero again, we cannot say what will happen now.
Perhaps the truce is more temporary than permanent, and it is up to future editions to delve deeper into the subject to give us an answer.
