The “Power Rangers” franchise has certainly remained in the memories of many people for many years. There is a generation that grew up with the program, which was shown on TV Globo, and brings back many fond memories for these people.
However, it cannot be denied that the peak of “Power Rangers” fame was in the 1990s, with “Power Rangers: Mighty Morphin”. Furthermore, during this season, Kimberly, the Pink Ranger, gained great prominence. But it’s not what you think, no.
In the comics, Kimberly Hart had a somewhat unusual evolution and makeover. And we’ll explain the reasons to you. Because it was no surprise that she broke the barriers and became one of the strongest rangers.
From Pink Ranger to Ranger Slayer
All of this happened because Kimberly was actually enchanted with a power by Tommy. It turns out that the Green Ranger had been enslaved by Rita Repulsa and he ends up serving the side of evil. However, after this spell is broken, he continues to fight on the side of evil on his own.
And that’s how he brought Kimberly to his side, as he used the same source as Rita Repulsa to charm the Pink Ranger.
With that, now being a villain, even her name changed. She ends up becoming the Ranger Slayer, a kind of right-hand man to Drakkon, used only to hunt other rangers.
The new villain is simply unique in her work, which makes her presence even more striking in the comics. She is so good at what she does that it is no wonder she has received the status of a legend, since she practically single-handedly took down a team of Rangers.
A Ranger Slayer shines. And even on the side of evil, he manages to make his existence incredibly remarkable.

She appears in the final pages of “Go Go Power Rangers #8”, at a time when she goes back in time to try to change the past and make Drakkon regain his power.
However, this evil Kimberly ends up coming back too much and lands when the Rangers are still very young and Tommy hasn’t even moved to the city yet.
And this is the point that leads to a clash between the good Kimberly and the Ranger Slayer, who is defeated by the good version and ends up breaking the spell cast on the villainous version of Kimberly in the present day.
