Since Globo incorporated the Camarote group into ‘Big Brother Brazil‘, speculations arise about the possible extra fee allocated to participating celebrities.
New conjectures about the amounts allocated to the six celebrities in the ‘BBB 24’ cast occurred last Tuesday (9).
According to columnist Leo Dias, the broadcaster decided to significantly reduce the number of celebrities in this edition, but would have increased their fees compared to previous editions.
According to speculation, the celebrities would receive R$40,000 to sign a contract that allows the use of their images even after the end of the reality show.
The document would also establish confidentiality regarding behind-the-scenes details of the confinement of the six famous participants.
This year’s cast includes singer Wanessa Camargo, model Yasmin Brunet, singer MC Bin Laden, pagodeiro Rodriguinho, paralympic athlete Vinicius Rodrigues and digital influencer Vanessa.
Repercussion on social media
On social platforms, the revelation of the supposed value generated diverse reactions. While some users consider the benefit excessive, others express the opinion that the amount is insufficient:
“They deserve more than that outside the house”, said a follower.
On an entertainment page, another suggested:
“I would remove the boxes and bring back the essence, only with anonymous people”.
It is worth remembering that, at Camarote’s debut in 2020, Boninho denied rumors about a supposed additional fee:
“To enter the ‘BBB’ house, the members of the box agreed on equal terms to ordinary participants. No extra benefits!”, stated the program director.
Despite the statement, rumors persisted throughout the editions. Even in the face of speculation about a possible fee, the broadcaster only confirms the value of the award reality show, which has been progressively increasing.
In the last edition, the winner, Amanda Meirelles, received a substantial prize of R$2.88 million. This year, estimates point to a potential payment of up to R$3 million, depending on the dynamics of the program.
