With this single release, Sony would streamline the production cycle, allowing it to increase inventory and lower the selling price of its next-gen console. Of course, the existence of the PS5 Slim remains hypothetical for now, as there is no official confirmation from Sony. Again Microsoft obviously has concrete information about the plans of the Japanese company.
