Disney Dreamlight Valley codes and how to use them

We’ve been considering Disney Dreamlight Valley codes since the game was first released in August, and we saw the “Redeem code” option in one of the menus. After months of silence, we finally released our first code and using it, mysterious golden potato element. Admittedly, it’s not clear yet what this shiny mud actually does in Disney Dreamlight Valley, but it’s a move in the right direction!

Hopefully this means more Disney Dreamlight Valley code will be released in the future, as it seemed like this feature might be redundant when the feature wasn’t used for the first few months. We’ve been following the Disney Dreamlight Valley codes for months and finally the first code is available:

• GPOT-OATO-LDFS-ENNM = Mysterious Golden Potato

There are a few things to note when entering this code – hyphens are required so make sure they are added as you type and also check what you typed to confirm as it contains an incorrect spelling of ‘potato’. you entered definitely As shown above.

This will reward you with a “Mysterious Object”, and on closer inspection it turns out to be the Mysterious Golden Potato, described as “A shiny potato that probably shouldn’t be eaten…”. because while it’s tagged as a quest item in the game, its purpose can be revealed later, and the expiration date for this Disney Dreamlight Valley code is marked early June 2023. This makes the fancy tuber, so we recommend keeping it for now.

How are codes used in Disney Dreamlight Valley?

To redeem Disney Dreamlight Valley codes, you must first enter the game as it cannot be done from the main menu. Once in the world press pause and go to the Settings tab, then go to Help. About halfway through this screen, you’ll see a box marked “Redeem code” and you can type it in there, then hit the Claim button at the bottom. If you get a message saying “The code is not available”, double-check that you typed it, making sure it matches exactly, including the hyphens.

After successfully redeeming a Disney Dreamlight Valley code, simply return home where you will see a new mail notification above the outside mailbox. Interact with it and you will be taken to a screen with a description of the item – click the Claim button below and your reward will be added to your inventory. Congratulations!
