The new Apple TV release date was rumored to arrive this week, and the new Apple TV like clockwork has arrived and can now be purchased online.
The new streaming box was first announced and unveiled during Apple’s iPhone 6s event last month. The company showed off some new features of the device, but didn’t actually show the actual box or the new remote.

The new set-top box also comes with its own App Store, which allows users to download and install third-party apps from developers, instead of being stuck with just a few channels as with the previous Apple TV. Users will also be able to play games directly on the box and download these games from the App Store.

Perhaps the biggest disappointment is that an HDMI cable is not included in the package, where you will only get a Lightning cable and a power cable in the box and with the remote. This isn’t too surprising, as many products don’t come with an HDMI cable in the first place, but it’s definitely a must-have for products that use HDMI, especially if it’s the only way to connect it to your TV.
The old Apple TV 3 is still available to buy and only costs $69 if you want the older generation, so maybe it’s better to buy if you only want access to streaming services and other essential features. Definitely a lower barrier to entry with this older model.
As for shipping dates and when to get your new Apple TV at your doorstep, Apple won’t officially ship the TV until October 30th, next day shipments won’t be delivered until then. earliest date. Of course, these dates can drastically change inventory changes, so keep that in mind if you’re considering buying the new Apple TV.

However, we already know that there will be third-party game controllers available for the set-top box, and we should see a ton of other accessories coming from third-party manufacturers in the future. Gamers who want to play games on the box and use the supplied remote control sideways as a controller. It’s not the best solution, so we’ll see third-party game controllers for the Apple TV, but at least it’s a temporary fix for those waiting for a good controller to arrive.
