Should I Buy an Apple Watch? 1

Should I Buy an Apple Watch?

The Apple Watch is seeing great sales right now, but should you buy an Apple Watch?

If you’ve put off buying the Apple Watch until it goes on sale, you’re about to be rewarded as you can get the Apple Watch up to $100 off this week on Black Friday.

Despite the deals, you’ll still spend at least $250 getting an Apple Watch, so it’s definitely not a purchase you’ll make, but if you’ve been wanting to get an Apple Watch for a while, now is definitely the time to buy it.

But an important question to ask yourself is whether you should buy an Apple Watch. of course, nobody needs an Apple Watch, but some users may find it useful, while others may not. Since the device’s launch in April, experiences have been pretty polarized: you either like it or you don’t. In the /r/AppleWatch subreddit on Reddit, there are a handful of users who stated that the Apple Watch, while cool, isn’t as useful as they’d hoped.

It’s definitely different from a smartphone where you need some kind of phone to carry around with you, and almost everyone who owns a phone would see it as a very useful device, but the Apple Watch is different. It’s an extension of your iPhone so to speak, so it’s definitely not something you absolutely need or even want, depending on your preferences.

Should you buy an Apple Watch?

More than once I’ve heard stories about buyers getting an Apple Watch and being really excited to try it out, only to find out a month or so later that the smartwatch isn’t doing much for them.

Why is this? It could be a lot depending on the user, but some users I spoke to said they’ve never worn a watch before and thought maybe the Apple Watch would change that, but it really didn’t.

Others say they don’t use mobile technology enough to really take advantage of the Apple Watch. For example, some users rely heavily on their iPhone every day and keep in touch with a lot of people, which can make the Apple Watch incredibly useful. However, other users don’t use their iPhones much during the day, which means they don’t use their Apple Watch much. However, it wasn’t worth spending a few hundred dollars on something that wasn’t used that often.

I’m in the same boat there. I don’t really use my iPhone that much, and I don’t talk and text a lot of people throughout the day, and even if I used it I’m usually already on my MacBook, so I can do many things I can do on my iPhone, including text messaging, which I do most.

Of course, it is worth mentioning the flaws of the Apple Watch. It is a first generation product, so it is by no means perfect. Third-party apps are pretty much useless on the Apple Watch as they take forever to load, which is just enough time to unplug your iPhone and access the app there.

Also, there are a few bugs inside Siri that occasionally cause some issues. You can fix these issues temporarily, but they won’t go away until Apple updates watchOS and improves overall performance.

The Apple Watch is a good first-gen product, certainly better than most first-gen products, but its flaws will most likely be fixed in the next major software update or next-gen Apple Watch. .

So, should you buy an Apple Watch? You can buy one and try and return it or sell it if you don’t like it (you may lose some money in the process), but if you’re thinking about buying one and selling it, it really doesn’t hurt. I’m not sure what to decide, here are a few things you should know.

If you’ve never worn a watch and don’t really need one, this can be a pretty good indicator of whether you should buy an Apple Watch. A watch itself is convenient to wear because you can quickly and easily look at the watch when you need it, and such users can greatly benefit from an Apple Watch by adding features to the watch they already wear. .

However, if you don’t normally wear a watch and can’t see the one spot when it comes to your wants or needs, you probably aren’t getting much out of the Apple Watch.

Of course I could be wrong. If you’re not a watch wearer in general, you might like the Apple Watch and vice versa, but personally, I don’t think smartwatches in general will appeal to you in the long run unless you already wear a watch.
