How to get Grounded Berry Chunks
Grounded Fruit Pieces are harvested mostly from Fruits found in the Hedge area in the southeast corner of the backyard. They are dark purple in color and grow at various levels around the Fence – low level ones can knock them down with a toolkit, while higher Fruits can be hit with a bow and arrow to dislodge them. When the berries fall, hit them a few times with your ax and you’ll get three or four Berry Chunks for your efforts. The hedge area is heavily patrolled by Grounded Spiders and other insects, so be ready for action and ready to fight or flee when needed.
How to get Grounded Berry Leather
Now that you have some Berry Chunks in your inventory, you’ll want to turn them into Grounded Berry Leather, but first you need to learn the recipe for it. To get it, analyze a Berry Chunk using the Source Analyzer or reach Brainpower Level 6 to get it automatically. With the recipe at hand, there are two different methods for making Berry Leather – either assemble x3 Berry Chunks in a Workbench or hang a single Berry Chunk to dry on a Jerky Rack if you have one. The Jerky Rack converts Chunks to Leather in a 1:1 ratio, so it’s more resource efficient, but you’ll have to wait eight in-game hours for it to dry, so if you’re not about to sleep then using Workbench is a lot of work to get Grounded Berry Leather. is a more efficient way.
