iOS 16: Google apps have widgets for iPhone lock screen

Google widgets are coming to iOS 16

Gmail app will add a widget with unread message counter.The Google News app displays the headlines of suggested articles in real time.

With Frequent Journeys, you will be able to get: real-time traffic updates and estimated travel times to places like your home and work, right on your lock screen. You can also find nearby restaurants, shops, and other favorite places by tapping the Map Search widget.
