The new iOS 9.3 update contains code that points to two possible iPhone 7 features, including one that many users are buzzing about a major change in the way you listen to music and watch movies on iPhone.
Apple released the iOS 9.3 beta to developers and the public this month as part of a preview program, and now there’s information on two features as researchers have time to explore the code. The code indicates that Apple will indeed remove the headphone jack on the iPhone 7, and the company may be working on adding new connectivity features.
This is far from confirmed, especially considering that the iPhone 7 will likely launch with iOS 10 and not iOS 9.3.
There’s no confirmation for the iPhone 7 at this point, but multiple accessory makers we spoke with at CES 2016 are already planning a new iPhone 7 without a headphone jack and relying more on the Lightning port.

For months, the iPhone 7 rumor mill has focused on a potential change in design that would remove the 3.5mm headphone jack to allow for a thinner iPhone 7 design. Multiple sources are talking about this change to the iPhone 7, which will push users to either Bluetooth headphones or Lightning-connected headphones.

In an earlier tweet, the same researcher points to a line of code that suggests Apple is investigating Li-Fi connectivity for the iPhone.

Although the developer is talking about the iPhone 7, Apple may be testing this connection in the lab, and it may take several generations for the LiFi connection to arrive in your home and on your iPhone. wireless it can provide very fast download speeds, but it is not a WiFi replacement at the moment.
