Alongside the popular 48MP primary camera, the Redmi K20 Pro includes a 13MP ultra-wide-angle lens and an 8MP telephoto lens. While we know Xiaomi’s camera performance is pretty commendable, there’s nothing like a great Google Camera mod (GCam mode) that can help elevate the experience.

Before installing a Google Camera mod on the Redmi K20 Pro, I would like to show you that Xiaomi offers complete Camera2API support out of the box. In the screenshot (from the Camera2 API Probe app) you can see that the K20 Pro is Level_3 compliant, meaning it supports RAW capture and YUV processing.

While most of the features work well in this camera mode, there are some known issues with the ultra wide-angle lens such as lens distortion, no slow motion video support, no EIS support, and more. But most importantly, the camera settings are only accessible from the main camera view, not tele or wide angle.
