Where to find a Ripsaw Launcher in Fortnite?
If you want to get around quickly, grab some Fortnite Claw Gloves and attack the enemy.
The best place to get yourself a Ripsaw Launcher is at the Chop Shop in the frozen northwest area of the Fortnite map. A large red workshop building roughly northeast of Logjam Lotus. Go inside and you’ll find several Ripsaw Launchers lying on the ground. From the ground floor of the main workshop you can also access a smaller gray garage building whose wall is filled with extra Torn Saw Launchers.
You’re also less likely to find a Torn Saw Launcher in the world, as they can appear on the ground, in chests, and in supply drops. So you may not have to go to the Chop Shop to get them, but if you absolutely need them for something specific, this is the best option. Note that Ripsaw Launcher is not available in competitive playlists! Wherever you find one, take it and slice it.
How to use Fortnite Ripsaw launcher
The Torn Saw Launcher fires saw blades that will cling to any destructible object and deal continuous damage until they break, meaning it can absolutely shatter structures both player-made and currently on the map. You also need one to complete two weekly Fortnite missions. The first one requires you to cut through Fortnite Timber Pines and the other quests require you to find giant mushrooms in Fortnite and slice them.
But this devastating power is offset by the launcher’s limited ammo capacity, as it only comes with 12 saw blades and can hold three at once. You have to hold down the fire button to accelerate the launcher to increase the range and speed of each saw blade. Speeding up also makes it a Fortnite melee weapon, so you can slash enemies and any structures up close. Overall, it’s not exactly easy to use or something you should whip up in the middle of combat, but if you have inventory space, it might be something to look forward to, especially in battle royale modes with building enabled.
