The next big update for Clash of Clans reached and Supercell is once again ignoring the original village. This is the Builder Base 7 update and there are tons of changes. We knew an update to the second island village was coming soon, and now it’s here. With tons of upgrades and a brand new Giant Ball, here’s what you need to know.
Supercell added Builder Base to Clash of Clans in May, and players have expressed disappointment since its release. Battle limits, game balance, and more that slow progress from not having enough troops. And while this doesn’t address all of them, there are some welcome changes.
Clash of Clans is still one of the most popular mobile games on the planet. However, this update once again forgets the original Clash and focuses on the new base instead. However, there is a big change in Clan Wars that many have been patiently waiting for.
Before we get into everything new, we need to mention the Clan Wars update. Last month, Supercell made some changes to Warfare in hopes of fixing some unfair matches and engineering bases. Apparently, this was not enough.
The September 27 Clash of Clans update adds a higher priority and a more accurate measure of attack power. So the algorithm calculates a clan’s total crime and matches them to a similar clan to make the game as fair as possible. Additionally, the search times received an extension so the game could find an equal opponent. Previously, after a certain time, the parameters expanded, which led to unstable battles. Choosing battle finding speed instead of finding an equal opponent. We hope this change will fix the issue.
What’s New in Builder Hall 7 Update
Then, this update is mainly for those who are enjoying the new Builder Base coming in May. This provides Builder Hall 7, two new units, and tons of upgrades.
There are three important changes in this update. The most important of these, of course, is the Builder Hall 7 option. This adds tons of upgrades to existing troops and more importantly another Army Camp. This gives players more room to bring additional units against battles.
Another big change is the new Giant Cannon and Drop Ship troops. One is a powerful defense that crushes an opponent, even a high-level War Machine. The second is an offensive air unit called the Drop Ship. Instead of dropping bombs, he drops skeletons in piles on bases to distract the defense. Note that the War Machine can now be upgraded to level 20.
And finally, this brings troop upgrades to level 14. It gives players five more Furious Barbarians, two more Archers, and increased damage for most troops. Here full changelog From Supercell.
What happened to Clash of Clans?
For those wondering, no, the September Clash of Clans update didn’t bring anything new to the original game. Supercell has once again completely skipped it in favor of the Creator Base. There is no indication that new content will be coming to the original Clash of Clans anytime soon. If we learn more, we will update it with all the details.
What’s next?
Leaks from YouTubers suggest that something big is coming for Clash Royale and potentially Clash of Clans in October. We know the annual October Halloween event is under construction, but that’s it. Supercell has a chance to add something new to Clash in October, but we’ll have to wait and see.
As of now, there is still a limit of three battles per day in the Builder Base, but trophy rewards against war have received an extension to 4,000 trophies. This means you can earn more gold and elixir from battles without quickly filling up.
Accumulate your gold and upgrade to Builder Hall 7 to enjoy all these latest changes. Then stay tuned for more details as we continue to wait for an update for the original Clash of Clans.
