The Vampire The Masquerade Swansong Leysha premonition selection will be your first big choice as Leysha and it starts very early in her part of the story. Shortly after the Prince, you’ll be sent on an espionage mission that begins by stumbling upon an apartment in search of Journey and Emem. Things go a little wrong when a premonition of a building threatens to distract Leysha and you have to decide whether to move forward and stay focused or give up and see what the vision has to offer. Here’s what you need to know about the Vampire The Masquerade Swansong Leysha premonition selection.
Spoiler for Vampire: Masquerade – Swansong is ahead, obviously
Should you focus or surrender to foreboding?
When you start playing as Leysha, you will be thrown into a spy business by Prince Iversen, as he asks you to spy on the Primogen council members behind his back to see if they are okay. Using the Hidden Mask invisibility, Leysha finds Journey and Emem in Jara Drory’s apartment and tries to eavesdrop on their conversation, but is interrupted by an incoming premonition. This is a timed choice, so you’ll have to stay focused and decide whether to suppress the hunch or surrender quickly!

Here are the results of Vampire Masquerade Swansong’s choice of Journey to the Prince or running
If you decide to focus, you’ll miss the hunch, but it will also mean you’ll be eavesdropping on Emem and Journey’s conversation. While you may not see it unfold, the outcome of your previous Journey to the Prince choice will have an impact on what’s to come for Leysha and Emem.
After you’ve done your spying job as Leysha, you’ll return to the Prince for the End of Scene briefing, where you can explain what you’ve learned. Whichever you choose, Leysha will always share that she saw Emem and Journey at Jara Drory’s apartment. However, choosing to focus, Leysha will also reveal that Emem told Journey that she should bring Journey to the Prince. You’ll get another less important dialog option, with options that depend on how you react to finding the Journey as Emem.
If you’ve previously told Journey to run as Emem and join the Confrontation, you’ll get as Leysha the option to disclose Emem’s attempt to persuade Journey to leave or to hide it from the Prince without saying anything. These options arise even if Emem loses the Confrontation and Journey still decides to see the Prince.
If you decide to share that Emem tried to persuade Journey to leave, Emem will confront the Prince directly in his interrogation and will either accept or lie to Emem. As Leysha, we couldn’t quite control what would happen if you didn’t say anything, but we’re assuming that this meant that Emem met the Prince one of two ways. Things could go well as Emem will bring the Journey and the Prince will have no clue that Emem is trying to persuade Journey to leave – a win-win for Emem and Prince Iversen. An alternative is that Emem has a more hostile conversation with the Prince and Journey will question why he isn’t with Emem, but Prince has no clue that this is because Emem convinced him to flee. Emem will then have to either confess or lie in one of several ways, with mixed results.
surrender to foreboding
Alternatively, if you decide to give in to Leysha’s hunch, you’ll miss Emem and Journey’s conversation altogether. Instead, you’ll see a cryptic image of spent shotgun shells outside a large tent, which then shows Leysha kneeling on the ground with a bloody cross-like symbol on her forehead. Leysha will refocus immediately after Emem and Journey leave Jara Drory’s apartment. As a reward for seeing foresight, you’ll receive the Introspection Feature for Leysha, which subtracts 20 experience from the cost of your next Auspex Discipline upgrade.
During Leysha’s meeting with the Prince, you will be able to reveal all the information you learned from your spying, including having a hunch. While the vague details seem to confuse the Prince, he is at least glad to hear that Leysha is being seen again. You’ll soon decide whether you want to reveal that you’ve seen Emem and Journey but your hunch is preventing you from hearing the conversation, or you can avoid mentioning Emem and Journey altogether.
If you tell the Prince that you saw Emem and Journey but didn’t hear what they were saying, the Prince will say it’s very bad and nothing to worry about. Similar to one of the consequences of choosing ‘Focus’, we assume that saying nothing during this dialogue means that Emem’s meeting with the Prince could go for good or bad, based on your previous actions as Emem. If you bring the Journey, the Prince will be happy that you followed his orders and the couple won’t even know that Leysha has been spotted. If you convince Journey to flee, Prince will question why Journey isn’t there, leaving Emem to confess or lie.
