iOS 12.4.1 Issues

iOS 12.4.1 users are reporting various bugs and performance issues.

The current list of iOS 12.4.1 issues includes loading issues, abnormal battery drain, issues with Touch ID and Face ID, issues with first and third party apps, lag, random reboots, and more.

Apple is currently signing the iOS 12.4 update; that means you can use a space to downgrade to the previous version of iOS 12.

Unfortunately, you cannot downgrade from iOS 12.4. Apple has closed the way to downgrade to iOS 12.3.2 and below.

iOS 12.4.1 Update: What’s New

The iOS 12.4.1 update does not come with any new features. In fact, there is only one change on board: a security patch. Vulnerability that the company did not unpatch Short time ago.

iOS 12.4.1 Jailbreak

You can jailbreak iOS 12.4, but not iOS 12.4.1. At least not yet.

Jailbreak developers recently released an iOS 12.4 jailbreak tool that works with devices from Apple A7 to A11. This means you can jailbreak an iPhone 5s, iPhone SE, iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, iPhone 7, iPhone 7 Plus, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPhone X running iOS 12.4, but you can do this. • Jailbreak iPhone XR, iPhone XS or iPhone XS Max.

If you have a newer iPhone model, you can jailbreak iOS 12 using: Chimera jailbreak tool. However, your device must be running iOS 12.0-iOS 12.1.2.

Unfortunately, you cannot upgrade to any of these versions of iOS 12.

iOS 12.4.1 will most likely be the final version of iOS 12.

Apple has not confirmed iOS 12.4.2 or iOS 12.5. And with iOS 13 only weeks away, we probably won’t be getting a new version of iOS 12.

If this continues, iOS 12.4.1 will be the last update for devices like iPhone 6, iPhone 6s Plus and iPhone 5s. These devices and others will remain on iOS 12.

Apple’s iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 upgrades will bring performance improvements and new features to the iPhone and iPad, including Dark Mode, a scrolling keyboard, and more.

We expect Apple to pull iOS 13 and iPadOS 13 out of beta in September, shortly after the company releases its 2019 iPhones.

The 2019 iPhone launch date has been confirmed as September 10, and the release date is said to be September 20. The iOS 13 release date should land somewhere between these dates.
