You can, however, mute the microphone and only allow others to join as listeners, or keep the option open for them to decide. How to Schedule Twitter Spaces

If you want to plan your space, you can do that too. Press the calendar button in the field creation interface, select the appropriate date and time and tap “Next”.

You may want to cancel or change a scheduled Space later. To do this, tap the calendar button again and Choose “Edit”. You can now choose to change the Space’s schedule or cancel it altogether.

Configure Twitter Domain Settings

1. When you create a Space, your microphone will be muted. Tap the microphone button at the bottom left to enable the microphone..

Invite Users to Your Twitter Space

1. You can invite people to your Space in three ways. You can send the invitation via Twitter DMs, tweet the link to Space, or copy the link to share on other platforms. To do any of these, Tap the ‘Share’ button on the Space UI.

Join the Ongoing Twitter Space

1. If you are following the Space host, you will see a purple Space indicator at the top of your timeline. You can touch and Press the ‘Join this space’ button to participate. You have the option to join as a listener or speaker, but the host must approve your request to speak before you can speak in the Space.

2. You can use emoji reactions to express your emotions without having to speak on Twitter Spaces. By doing so, tap the emoji button (heart with plus symbol) in the bottom right and select one of the available emojis (angry, right? Responsive, unfortunately.) All participants will see the emoji reaction on your Space avatar.

How to Register Your Twitter Domains

Before starting the space, you can choose to record the entire session. Activate “Recording Area” toggle, and you’re all set. Public registration is available for 30 days and you have the option to tweet your registered Domain and share it with your followers. Download Registered Domains

We will have to rely on unofficial workarounds to download Spaces, as Twitter will automatically delete your recordings in 30 days. Listeners cannot download registered Domains via this bot, possibly to avoid intellectual property violations. For quick access to a Saved Space, you can choose to bookmark the tweet and play it for the 1 month period it will be available.

You get various playback controls in the interface, including play/pause Spaces recording, 15 second recording search, playback speed control, subtitles, and more. Twitter also supports background playback, meaning you can switch to another app and get on with your work while listening to a recorded session.

End Twitter Space Session

1. When you are ready to end the discussion, you can tap the ‘Finish’ button to close the Blanks window. When the warning appears, Tap on ‘Yes, Finish’ to approve.

2. Listeners can easily leave Spaces at any time by tapping the ‘Leave’ button in the upper right corner. Everyone will be automatically kicked out of the Space when the host ends the discussion.

Find Active Twitter Spaces to Listen

Twitter now has a dedicated tab you can use to explore active sound rooms. The feature is currently only available on Twitter’s iOS and Android mobile apps and is expected to arrive on the Twitter website soon.
