watchOS 6.2.5 update is compatible with all Apple Watches running watchOS 6. This includes Series 1 through Series 5. This is not a typical release as a new iOS version does not need to be installed to receive the update.

This is a minor bug fix update that adds a non-new feature only to support it in a new location. This is a sign that we may not see many problems. We check our Apple Watch devices for watchOS 6.2.5 issues and follow social media. The good news at the moment is that we haven’t had any major issues and overall there are no widespread reports of watchOS 6.2.5 issues yet.
