The Obi-Wan Kenobi series has always been considered as: a limited series. Reflecting The Book of Boba Fett or several Marvel shows on Disney+, the series is built around a story with a well-defined beginning and end.

Lucasfilm director Kathleen Kennedy is leaving. The door is open for a possible sequel. Obviously Lucasfilm and Disney+ will have to wait critical reception of the first season before embarking on a possible second episode party. The ultimate success of the series should motivate the writers to find a way to embroider about Obi-Wan’s (still camped by Ewan McGregor) exile on Tatooine for the past 10 years.
Hayden Christensen, also the translator of Anakin Skywalker / Darth Vader, talked about his return to the role. The actor assured that he will become the Sith Lord. “very strong”. He even hinted that the series might show his face, implying the existence of flashbacks.
