7 Common Madden 19 Problem and How to Fix It

This is how you can fix Madden 19 issues on Xbox One, PS4 and PC so you can get back in the game.

Madden 19 introduces brand new features, epic new MUT modes and a new Real Player Action setup that changes the gameplay at its core. Unfortunately, there are also Madden 19 issues that will prevent you from enjoying the game.

Most of the time, you can get back to playing Madden 19 without waiting for EA Help or a patch to arrive on Twitter.

Sometimes there are Madden 19 bugs or bugs that can only be fixed with an update or patch. How to Fix Madden 19 Download Problems

Another common issue with the trial version and the full version of the game is when you encounter Madden 19 download errors.

I was unable to download Madden 19 to my Xbox One. It came halfway and then kept throwing an error. The game was trying to install on the external hard drive and there was a problem somewhere. I restarted my Xbox One, removed the drive and plugged it back in and the download continued.

If you need to fix a slow Madden 19 download, you can pause the download, wait 5 seconds and restart it. On PS4 go to downloads, hit X to pause and then again to restart. On Xbox One, go to Games & Apps, select Queue, and then in Madden 19 press the three line button on your controller and select pause installation. Wait a second and then choose to reinstall.

How to Fix Madden 19 Installation Problems

If you don’t have enough space or your external drive is working, you may run into Madden 19 installation problems.

The first thing to try is to restart your console. This takes less than a minute and can fix most problems. I couldn’t install Madden 19 on Xbox One X. It kept saying the disk was dirty. I solved this problem by turning the Xbox One off, unplugging it for a minute, and then trying to restart it.

You may also need to delete old games to free up space. Go to the storage space on your console and see if there is enough space to download or install all of Madden 19. Even if you have a disk, the game needs a lot of space.

Another thing you might need to do is clear local game saves or cache. Use these instructions on Xbox One. You need to make sure you back up your saves to Xbox Live or you will lose your progress.

You can clear PS4 Cache on PS4. To do this, turn off your PS4, unplug it for a minute and plug it back in. If that fails, delete Madden 19 and try reinstalling.

How to Fix Missing Madden 19 Pre-Order Content and Bundles

If you pre-ordered the Madden 19 Hall of Fame Edition, you may encounter an issue where you cannot automatically receive special packs. EA is aware of this issue.

You can try the following steps to get your missing MUT packages immediately;

1. Turn off the Xbox completely.
2. Unplug the power cord for 2-3 minutes.
3. Plug in the cable, turn on the Xbox and open Madden 19.
4. Go to MUT, Store and Claim Packages even if it says 0.

There is an issue with Madden 19 where users are unable to create a Madden Ultimate Team. This is happening in the Hall of Fame Edition and affects many users.

EA is aware of the issue and is working on a fix, but there is no time frame for resolution yet.

How to Fix Madden 19 PC Crashes

We are seeing limited reports of Madden 19 crashing on PC. If this happens to you, EA recommends uninstalling and reinstalling the game. It’s not yet clear whether this will fix the problem for everyone, but it’s a good start.

Madden 19 MUT Challenges Not Completing

There is an incredibly annoying Madden 19 MUT Challenge bug. After completing a challenge, not fully registered. This seems to happen when a connection is lost from the EA Servers.

Madden 19 trial is live on EA Access and Origin Access. You should be able to play for 10 hours, but that’s not for everyone.
