Nowadays, almost everywhere you go, you will find a way to connect to wi-fi with your iPhone. So usually, once you’ve signed, you won’t have to worry too much about signing again.
But sometimes our phones disconnect multiple times in a short period of time. So if you’re trying to watch a Netflix series, chat with friends, or call a family member, it gets annoying pretty quickly.
However, most of the time, fixing your iPhone’s wi-fi problems is not too difficult to solve. For example, your internet provider may be having a bad day or you may need to update your phone’s software.
In this article, you will discover four ways to fix the problem of your iPhone constantly disconnecting from wi-fi.
1. Enter and Exit Airplane Mode
If your internet connection is constantly turning on and off, you may want to consider manually stopping your phone from connecting to the internet. One way to do this is to toggle in and out of airplane mode on your device.
You have two options to turn on airplane mode. Below is the list of steps you need to follow for the first step.
Stage 1: Unlock your iPhone.
Step 2: Swipe up on the home screen. You will then see the Control Center.

Stage 3: Tap the airplane icon in the Control Center. You may also need to tap the wi-fi symbol to turn it off.
Step 4: After airplane mode is turned on, turn it off again; your phone should reconnect to wifi.

If you do not have airplane mode in your Control Center, you can follow the steps below to achieve the same result.
Stage 1: Open the Settings app. You will see the airplane mode option under your name.

Step 2: Toggle the toggle switch to turn on airplane mode.
Stage 3: Turn airplane mode off again by tapping the same button.
If turning airplane mode on and off doesn’t work, consider turning your phone back on and off.
2. Check for Software Updates
Updating your iPhone software is important for many reasons. First, doing this ensures that you continue to protect yourself against potential threats such as hackers. However, your phone will gradually start to perform worse when you don’t keep it updated.
If your wifi keeps dropping and your router is OK, it’s a good idea to check your iPhone for any updates you may have missed. To do this, follow the steps listed below.
Stage 1: Open the Settings app.
Step 2: Scroll down to General. Once there, click on that tab.

Stage 3: Near the top of the next page you will see an option titled Software Update. Tap on it.
Step 4: If you need to download the latest software, you will see an option to do so. Click this and your iPhone will start updating.

You need to be connected to some sort of internet to update your software. You can use cellular data if your mobile plan allows it. Otherwise, you can do this through iTunes on your Mac or wait until you have a wifi connection elsewhere.
3. Forget and Rejoin Your Wi-Fi
If you notice that the wifi is working properly on your laptop or game console, the problem is most likely with your iPhone. A possible solution is to forget the network on your mobile device before rejoining.
To do this, follow the steps below.
Stage 1: Open your Settings app again and click on Wi-Fi. This is the option just below Airplane Mode.

Step 2: Click on the connected or usually connected wi-fi network.

Stage 3: Select Forget This Network and confirm that you want to forget the network.

Step 4: Look at the network list below and find the one you want to reconnect to.

Step 5: Click on network and re-enter the password.

4. Check Your Router
In some cases, the internet is the problem. In this case, it’s a good idea to check your wireless router.
Check the status in front of your router before doing anything. For example, if you notice that the internet is not connected or your connection is unstable, turn it off and wait a bit before turning it back on.
If the problem persists, you need to contact your network provider to find out what’s going on.
Fix Your iPhone’s Wi-Fi Connection: You Have Plenty of Options
Connecting to Wi-fi will help you stream videos faster on your iPhone and save money by purchasing a smaller data plan.
When your phone keeps disconnecting from the internet and reconnecting, try to see if you can fix the problem on your mobile device. If it persists, restart your router.
You may need to be patient until your provider fixes things again, as the internet sometimes crashes into an entire domain.
