How to Join Android P Beta Now

In this guide, we will show you how to join the Android P beta program right now. It lets you try the latest Android 9.0 from Google months in advance. Either install it on Pixel or Pixel 2, or manually install Android P on one of the 10 other supported devices.

The beta program reopened in May, but you can now try Google’s Android P Developer Preview 5 (beta 4). latest version. Supported devices include Pixel, Pixel XL, Pixel 2, and Pixel 2 XL. How to Join Android P Beta Now

Join Android P Beta for Other Phones

Joining the beta program is not that easy if you don’t have a Google Pixel or Pixel 2. Google’s co-producers have instructions for users to manually flash files, but it’s the only option. You cannot easily join the beta program with the OnePlus 6.

Those with non-Pixel phones should unlock the bootloader on their device, download some developer files, keep ADB running, and flash unreleased software from Oppo, Essential or OnePlus. Click on these links for more information and download the required files.

This is the first time Google has released an Android version early for more than a Nexus or Pixel device. So although it is exciting, you may run into problems. Just make sure you know what to expect, back up your device first and be prepared for the situation. If this is your only device, do not immediately sign up for the beta on your Nokia or OnePlus device.
