Lost Arc Ghost Ships are great sources of loot as well as nightmares. But they are difficult to unlock and even harder to navigate the seas to reach them. Not to mention clearing the aforementioned Ghost Ships.
If you want to know Lost Arc Ghost Ship locations, spawn times and how to unlock this late game feature, here is all the essential information.

How to unlock Ghost Ships in Lost Ark
Everything in order; What are these Ghost Ships and how do you unlock them? Ghost Ships are an endgame feature, so you don’t have to worry about them if you’re still following the main questline. Only when you complete the Wavestrand Harbor quests will you unlock the sailing feature, the first step towards getting to the Ghost Ships.
To summarize, what should be:
- Continue the main quests to unlock the sailing feature and get your first ship.
- Complete the following Queen’s quests on North Vern: A New Journey and the Procyon Wall.
- Upgrade your ship to level 2.
- Go to Rohendel, the western part of the map. This is where the Ghost Ship spawns are located.
Lost Arc Ghost Ship locations
There are only three Ghost Ship locations in Lost Ark, don’t pick one at random because they have their own difficulty levels. Take a look at your character’s item level and sail the most suitable Ghost Ship:
- Nightmare Ghost Ship: item level 460
- Shadow Ghost Ship: item level 960
- Storm Ghost Ship: item level 1370
Needless to say, first-timers should head to the Nightmare Ghost Ship.
How to complete Ghost Ship Raids in Lost Ark
Unfortunately, you cannot conquer Ghost Ships as often as you would like. There are several rules:
- Ghost Ship raids are a weekly event. The week is reset on Wednesdays.
- You can clear a Ghost Ship with only one character. If you want to use another character, wait for the weekly reset.
- Ghost Ships spawn occasionally, so the date and time are difficult to predict. Do not park at the Ghost Ship location; If you want to know when the next Ghost Ship will spawn, use Procyon’s Compass (see image).
You don’t have to worry about finding a party in advance; If you are not in a group, you will be automatically matched with other players. But watch out for the damage done to your ship in these dangerous waters. If you arrive long before the Ghost Ship spawns, your ship may not survive.
The combat itself is a matter of defeating the enemies as you normally would. This is not an easy fight, so be sure to bring your best gear, potions and throwables. You may also want to recruit crew members with the ‘Fighter: Ghost Ship’ feature. Oh, and most importantly: Bring in the phoenix feathers for instant resurrection. If you die without them, you will not be able to respawn on the Ghost Ship.
Ghost Ship rewards in Lost Ark
Events for defeating the Ghost Ship are rewarded with a selection of the following items:
- Pirate Coins
- Destruction and Protective Stones
- Harmony Parts
- star’s breath
- cards
- engravings
- Your very own Ghost Ship. Yes, you can claim one of these spooky ships yourself! We will explain this in more detail below.
How to get Ghost Ship Eibern’s Wound
To get your own Ghost Ship, you need to complete the daily ‘Dreamy Night Mist’ quest. You can find it in the ‘Diary’ tab in Una’s Quests. The goal is simple: to complete Ghost Ship events. Repeat this quest at least twelve times to get enough reputation points (remember to request them from Una’s Quests menu) and receive Eibern’s Scar as a reward.
Good luck with your Ghostly Lost Ark adventures!
