How to Change the Default WordPress Gravatar

In one of our previous articles, we showed you what Gravatars are and how to get them.

Now, if you already run a WordPress website, you’ve probably noticed that WordPress integrates Gravatars. What this means is that gravatar images are automatically displayed when people visit your site and want to post a comment. But what if a user doesn’t have a gravatar account? If so, a default gravatar image will be displayed next to their username. Today we will show you how to change this default WordPress gravatar image.

How to Change Gravatars in WordPress

The default gravatar in WordPress looks like this:

But now let’s install the free version and see what new options it offers. Go to your control panel and then Plugins > Add New. In the search bar on the right side of the screen, type WP User Avatar and when you find the plugin, click on it. To organise.

To see the list of avatars uploaded by other users, return to the main menu and Avatars > Library.
